Location: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Annual Salary Range: $55-60K annually

THE JOB PURPOSE
Myseum is looking for an energetic web and graphic designer who is motivated to use their
talent and skill-set in a meaningful way. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of
experience in web and graphic design, and be self-motivated. You will be a key contributor
towards our marketing and programming efforts for digital and in-person engagement. Your
creative, technical and strategic approach are key strengths in your professional toolkit. You are
passionate about beautiful design that informs, engages and persuades and have a strong
desire to contribute to a team of dedicated, and thoughtful professionals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Turn creative briefs into impactful design that inspires, captures, and informs audiences
about Myseum programming
- Design, create, and maintain website content, taking initiative and responsibility for a
consistent brand image, user experience, and the timeliness of content
- Design print and digital marketing materials: posters, out of home, social media
graphics, banner ads, print etc
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, including events, exhibitions, and
campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends and technologies
- Take initiative and look for opportunities to contribute
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of experience in web and graphic design
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and graphic design projects
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – nice-to-have
experience (or strong desire to learn) Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Understanding of HTML/CSS, and experience with website management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about design and details

Myseum of Toronto is a city museum dedicated to exploring and sharing the diverse histories of
the city. By inspiring curiosity and sharing stories, we foster deeper relationships between the
people and places that shape it. We do this through exhibitions at our space in 401 Richmond,
city-wide events, and our digital archive of Toronto histories.
