I am currently on a journey of self-discovery and creating. When I was younger I always drew from photographs. As I got older I continued to excel in art. I went through an extended period of health difficulties in my childhood, and art became my coping mechanism. I graduated from OCAD University (Ontario College of Art and Design, Toronto) with a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a minor in Social Sciences. Followed by an Event Management postgrad certificate at Humber College (Toronto) in 2016. After completing my schooling, I decided work “ordinary jobs” that never brought satisfaction. After enduring a somewhat insane cycle for two and a half years I realized something was missing. The missing piece was art, and the ability to create. Excited about starting this journey (for real this time!) and creating beautiful work that represents what I want to see more of in the world. I would say that my style can border abstraction sometimes, but is very much influenced by my love for the beauty, versatility and finesse of black females.
