From Analogue to Digital

How has the transition from analogue to digital and back to analogue affected Canada’s music industry as a whole? How does this impact how today’s emerging artists are approaching, releasing, and monetizing their music?

This Record Store Day, Myseum and TRACKMEET present THE GOODS, a series of panel discussions featuring leaders from Toronto’s music, film, and creative industries.

Panel

  • Ian Steaman (CBC Music / A Different Kitchen blog)
  • Jonathan Shedletzky (Arts & Crafts – label manager)
  • Maylee Todd (Artist)
  • Moderated by Ty Harper

THE GOODS will be broadcast live on Istolethesoul FM.

TRACKMEET will combine activities at local record shops surrounding Record Store Day with a series of events celebrating music culture and the local artists behind the thriving scene. Through this event we encourage music lovers to interact and enjoy the diversity of our local music scene.
