AT WORK IN THE MEMORY ARCHIVE

What does the city forget? It’s the Department of Public Memory’s job to find out. This interactive installation shares stories of overlooked efforts to make Toronto more livable. Participants are invited to peruse unique archive files in small groups, following a series of unusual instructions. Part sit-down scavenger hunt, part civic discussion, each event runs for two hours. Drop-ins also welcome during gallery hours.
