REVISIONIST TORONTO

One Day...

One Day, Canadian artist, Derek Michael Besant RCA, examines the redevelopment of Toronto’s Harbourfront and Distillery Districts through photography and text. A series of 30 large-scale images along TTC Transit Stations portray what Harbourfront and Distillery District re-urbanization zones looked like under construction while the text fragments reference narratives of possibilities for living in the city. Together, they create a hybrid contemplative equation aimed at how we can build better cityscapes for everyone.
